I'm based in Kunming, Yunnan — the heart of China's coffee revolution. This site is my personal exploration of China's emerging specialty coffee scene, with a focus on Yunnan's unique terroir, producers, and culture.

Why this matters

China is already the world's fastest-growing coffee market. But most people outside China have no idea that Yunnan — a province better known for tea and mountains — produces 98% of the country's coffee beans. The quality is improving every year, and the stories behind these beans deserve to be told.
